Section 1700-03-01-.29 - PURCHASE OF PRIOR SERVICE THROUGH MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS

A member or retired member of the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System may establish retirement credit through monthly installments pursuant to T.C.A. § 8-37-220. The Retirement Division may begin accepting monthly installment payments pursuant to said Section effective January 1, 1997. The minimum amount of the monthly payments shall be determined by the Retirement Division, provided such amount is not less than fifty dollars and no cents ($50.00) per month.
