Section 1340-02-03-.12 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
(1) The rules, regulations and requirements established herein are minimums and may be expanded.
(2) No alcoholic beverages of any type or narcotic drugs shall be brought onto, consumed or stored on the premises of any Handgun Training School site.
(3) No prohibited handguns, as defined by T.C.A. § 39-17-1302, of any type will be possessed by any person at or on the premises of any site a Handgun Training School is being conducted.
(4) Any authorized representative of the Department shall be permitted to inspect the Handgun Safety School site at any time during normal State business hours, as defined in T.C.A. § 4-4-105 or during the conducting of a Handgun Safety Course.
(5) During the period of time in which the classroom and range portion of the course are being conducted, no third party materials or presentations may be given to the students in the classroom or on the range, including during any breaks. Such materials may be made available to students outside of the classroom but should not disrupt the course of instruction.
