Section 1200-01-01-.03 - EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION(1) In addition to medical personnel, the person proposing or holding an Assembly shall provide emergency transport services. A plan for emergency transport services shall be submitted with the application for license. One licensed emergency vehicle shall be stationed at the assembly site per 50,000 PEA and must be capable of arriving at a case within five (5) minutes after notice. The person holding an Assembly shall provide an unimpeded entrance and exit route for emergency vehicles.(2) There shall be a written agreement between the person proposing or holding an Assembly and the hospitals that patients will be admitted which are transported from an Assembly. This agreement shall be presented with the application for license.(3) An application for license of an emergency vehicle not previously licensed shall be submitted to the Division of Emergency Medical Services. This application shall be submitted 60 days prior to a proposed Assembly or filed with the application for license to hold an Assembly. All emergency vehicles shall be properly licensed before a license for an Assembly is granted.(4) Adequate communications between the emergency vehicle or Assembly and the receiving hospital shall be provided and included in the plans submitted. Manpower requirements essential for licensing of emergency vehicles shall be included in plans submitted.Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1200-01-01-.03
