Section 0940-06-04-.07 - PAYMENT OF IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICES
(1) If the court makes a specific finding that it is in the best interest of an individual who meets ADAT Program eligibility criteria, and that it is in the best interest of the public, monies in the TDMHDD ADAT Fund for D.U.I. Offenders may be used to pay the reasonable cost of leasing, buying, installing, monitoring, and maintaining an ignition interlock device that is ordered for that individual pursuant to T.C.A. § 55-10-412(l), provided that the device does not substitute for treatment for the person.
(2) Application for the use of such funds shall be subject to the review and approval of the Department according to established policies and procedures.
