Section 0940-05-16-.07 - DISPOSITION OF UNUSED MEDICATIONS IN HOSPITALS

Any unused portions of prescriptions must be either turned over to the patient only on a written authorization including directions by the physician or returned to the pharmacy for proper disposition by the pharmacist.
