Section 0800-09-01-.11 - PARTIAL UNEMPLOYMENT DEFINED(1) Partial employment presupposes that the worker is working less than full-time because the worker's employer is unable to provide the worker with full-time work.(2) A worker is partially unemployed only if the worker had a continuous attachment to an employer during a given claim period; in other words, during such period as the worker is "underemployed" and not "unemployed" in the sense that an individual has no employer.(3) To establish eligibility for partial benefits, an individual must be able and available for work during the period for which the individual is claiming the benefits.Tenn.
