Section 0800-02-12-.01 - PURPOSE AND SCOPE(1) Purpose: The purpose of these rules is to support the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Program designed to deter the use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace and to decrease the risks of injuries to co-workers and damage to property which may result from the use of drugs or alcohol in the workplace. These rules shall apply to those employers who voluntarily choose to participate in this program.(2) Scope: The provisions of these rules apply to all employers in the State of Tennessee subject to provisions of the Workers' Compensation Act who are certified members of the drug-free workplace program.
