Section 0580-01-01-.01 - SCOPE AND PURPOSE(1) Purpose. The purpose of the Tennessee Ethics Commission is to sustain the public's confidence in government by increasing the integrity and transparency of state and local government through regulation of lobbying activities, financial disclosure requirements, and ethical conduct.(2) Scope. These rules provide for the regulation of lobbying activities through requirements related to the registration and financial disclosure of lobbyists and employers of lobbyists.Tenn. Comp.
