Section 0520-07-02-.01 - CATEGORIES(1) There shall be six (6) types of non-public schools in Tennessee as set forth in this Chapter: Categories I, II, III, and V private schools, Category IV church-related schools, and independent home schools.(2) Pursuant to T.C.A. § 49-6-3001, Category I, II, III, and V private schools, Category IV church-related schools, and independent home schools as defined in T.C.A. § 49-6-3050 where parents provide annual notice to the director of schools of the LEA, satisfy the compulsory school attendance requirements for students who are ages six (6) through seventeen (17), inclusive.Tenn.
