Section 0465-02-05-.06 - LICENSEES PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION SERVICESIf the licensee, or employees of the licensee, provides transportation to persons supported in vehicles owned either by the licensee or by the employee, the governing body must ensure that the following requirements are met:
(1) All vehicles must be maintained and operated in a safe manner;(2) All staff providing transportation must possess an appropriate driver's license. Documentation of such license must be maintained in the licensee's records;(3) All licensee-owned and staff-owned vehicles used for the transportation of persons supported must be adequately covered by vehicular liability insurance for personal injury to occupants of the vehicle. Documentation of such insurance must be maintained in the licensee's records; and(4) Appropriate safety restraints must be used as required by state and federal law.Tenn. Comp.
