Section 0400-45-09-.18 - MONITOR WELL CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS(1) Construction standards for monitor wells are not promulgated under this statute. Construction standards for monitor wells are regulated by the state agency requiring the monitor well to be placed into service. The Well Act only requires an individual to be licensed as a monitor well driller.(2) Monitor well reports and Notice of Intent fees for monitor wells are not required to be submitted to the Division of Water Resources.(3) Installer licenses are not required to install pumps or water treatment devices on monitor wells.(4) Monitor wells are required to be constructed by licensed monitor well drillers.(5) Monitor wells may be closed by a licensed water well driller, geothermal driller, monitor well driller or a person holding a license for well closure.
