Section 0400-20-09-.04 - REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION(1) No person shall activate an accelerator, until the registration has been certified pursuant to the information supplied by the applicant and Rule 0400-20-09-.05.(2) Application for a Certified Registration shall be made to the Division as follows:(a) Application for a Certified Registration shall be filed on a form prescribed by the Division.(b) The Division may at any time after the filing of the original application or before the expiration of the Certified Registration require further statements in order to enable the Division to determine whether certification should be granted or denied or whether the Certified Registration should be modified or revoked.(c) Each application shall be signed by a person authorized to act for and on behalf of the applicant.(3) Possession of a Certified Registration is not required in order to transfer, own, receive, acquire, or possess an accelerator when such devices are in storage or disassembled or otherwise incapable of operation. However, each person receiving such accelerator shall within 10 days after the receipt of the accelerator submit an application for Certified Registration pursuant to Rule 0400-20-10-.24.Tenn. Comp.
