Section 0400-20-05-.121 - METHOD FOR GRANTING APPROVAL OF ALTERNATIVE DISPOSAL PROCEDURES(1) A licensee or applicant for a license may apply to the Division for approval of alternative procedures for disposal of radioactive material generated in the licensee's activities. Each application shall include:(a) A description of the waste that contains the radioactive material to be disposed, including the physical and chemical properties important to risk evaluation;(b) The proposed manner and conditions of waste disposal;(c) An analysis and evaluation of pertinent information about the environment of the disposal site;(d) The nature and location of other potentially affected licensed and unlicensed facilities; and(e) Analyses and procedures to ensure that doses are maintained ALARA and within the dose limits in this chapter.Tenn.
