Section 0250-07-07-.01 - PURPOSE OF CHAPTER(1) The purpose of this chapter is to provide, in compliance with Section 1, § 36-1-127 of House Bill 406 (1995), procedures for access to records and other papers relating to adoptions of certain persons, whose records, whether sealed, whether in any court record, or whether in any post-adoption record, were finalized prior to March 16, 1951, or to certain persons whose records were maintained at anytime, before or after March 16, 1951, by the Tennessee Children's Home Society.Tenn.
