Section 0240-07-03-.11 - APPEAL OF CITATIONS(1) Any MTSU student, other than a student holding a faculty/administrative/staff parking permit, who receives a parking/traffic citation may appeal the citation within fifteen (15) calendar days of issuance by going to the SGA website which provides the specific hearing procedures.(2) Any MTSU employee or campus visitor holding a faculty/administrative/staff parking permit who receives a citation may appeal the citation within fifteen (15) calendar days of issuance by filing an appeal form or by going to the Parking Services website. Specific hearing procedures are described at the website.(3) Any MTSU student or employee who has his/her vehicle towed may appeal such action as indicated above. This can be done only after the vehicle has been secured from impoundment and within seven (7) calendar days of the towing date.(4) All appeal decisions are available on the Parking Services website. Individuals who have appealed will also be notified of the appeal decision through the email address provided with the appeal. The appeal decision is final.(5) The payment of citations will in no way restrict the Office of Student Conduct or the University Parking and Traffic Committee from revoking parking privileges.Tenn.
