Section 74:21:02:39 - Classes of plants and systems

Each operational category shall be classified in one of four classes designated as Class I, II, III, or IV according to complexity of operation. Class IV is the highest. Classification of collection and distribution systems shall be based upon population served. Classification of treatment plants and systems shall be based upon a point system in accordance with §§ 74:21:02:60 and 74:21:02:61.
