Section 67:62:07:06 - Time and place of hearing

A fair hearing, by an impartial hearing officer, must be held within ninety days after receiving a request by the client, the client's parent, or the client's guardian. The impartial hearing officer shall set a time and place for the hearing, at the earliest reasonable time. Time extensions may be provided:

(1) By the impartial hearing officer; or at

(2) At the request of any party involved, and upon agreement of all parties to a specific extension of time.
