The facility must provide living units for the children in care. Each unit must have at least one staff member present at all times who is trained in basic first aid and is certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Certification in CPR must be through the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or another entity that provides hands-on skills testing as part of the training.
