Section 67:16:40:16.01 - Requirements for continued stay - Long-term care hospital unit

An individual's continued stay in a long-term care hospital unit is a covered service under this chapter if the individual has demonstrated continued functional gains for a period of two weeks and the individual continues to require care that cannot be provided in a rehabilitation unit, nursing home, or in the individual's own home.
