Section 67:16:03:07.01 - Maximum rate of payment - Transfers between DRG-reimbursed hospital unit and DRG-exempt intensive care nursery unit in same hospital

If an infant is transferred between a DRG-reimbursed hospital unit and a DRG-exempt intensive care nursery unit in the same hospital, the total reimbursement for the combined care in the units may not exceed the amount payable had all of the needed services been delivered in the intensive care nursery unit.
