Section 67:16:02:05.01 - Physical therapy services covered

Physical therapy services which are ordered by a physician or other licensed practitioner through a written prescription and provided by a physical therapist licensed under SDCL 36-10 or by a physical therapist assistant certified under SDCL 36-10 are covered services under this article.

Services provided by a physical therapist assistant shall be billed by the supervising physical therapist.
