An AFDC applicant or recipient must provide evidence to the department of the value of other real property which the applicant or recipient owns or in which the applicant or recipient has an interest. Evidence consists of the following:
(1) The fair market value as determined by a real estate appraiser;(2) The fair market value as determined by a BIA realty office;(3) The fair market value as determined from an average of three estimates from individuals, other than the applicant or recipient, familiar with and able to place a value on the property;(4) The fair market value as determined by a bank or savings and loan official; or(5) The fair market value as determined by the Farmers Home Administration; and(6) A list of current encumbrances of record against the property. Evidence submitted under this section may be verified by the department.
