An individual is ineligible for assistance under this article if the individual is convicted in a federal or state court of having made a fraudulent statement or representation regarding the individual's place of residence in order to receive medicaid, food stamps, supplemental security income, or benefits under this article from two or more states simultaneously.
The period of ineligibility is ten years and begins with the date of the conviction.
