Section 55:10:10:04 - Changes in duties and responsibilities

If a significant change is made in the duties and responsibilities of a position involving either the addition of new assignments or the taking away or modification of existing assignments, the change shall be reported to the commissioner by the department head or employee concerned. The commissioner shall investigate the change and, if the change is to be permanent and call for reclassification, the commissioner shall reclassify the position to an appropriate class.
