Section 47:03:01:11 - Prehearing conferences

In any action, the Division of Labor and Management may in its discretion direct the attorneys for the parties and any unrepresented parties to appear by telephonic conference before a hearing for such purposes as the following:

(1) Expediting the disposition of the petition for hearing;

(2) Not allowing the case to become protracted;

(3) Requiring thorough preparation; and

(4) Facilitating settlement.
