An antisiphon device or backflow preventer shall be installed on any hose bib and on any fixture to which hoses or tubing can be attached such as janitor sink, bedpan flushing attachment, and handheld shower. An antisphon device or backflow preventer shall be installed on all plumbing and equipment where any possibility exists for contamination of the potable water supply.
