Section 44:09:07:05 - Certifying to facts on delayed marriage certificate

Unless the delayed certificate of marriage was established by court order, each delayed certificate of marriage shall be signed and sworn to before an official authorized to administer oaths by the persons whose marriage is to be registered or a legal representative acting for the registrant.
