Section 44:05:06:11 - Non-standard form cardiopulmonary resuscitation directive

Any competent adult may execute a cardiopulmonary resuscitation directive by other than the standard form for an EMS cardiopulmonary resuscitation directive. If emergency medical services personnel are presented with such a directive, the personnel may comply with the directive to the best of their understanding of it and their ability to do so, consistent with their training, the protocols under which their agency operates, and any medical direction received.
