Section 41:03:04:13 - Park facility use fees

The fee for the use of the following state park facilities is:

(1) Fort Sisseton or Pierson Ranch picnic shelter with kitchenette, $50 per day;
(2) Fort Sisseton south barracks, $500 for a period from 10:00 a.m. Friday to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, inclusive;
(3) Fort Sisseton event tent -- on site, $150 per day (must be rented for a minimum of two consecutive days); off-site, $1,000 per day plus two dollars per mile transport fee for set up over 25 miles;
(4) Fort Sisseton grounds for outdoor wedding, $125 if park benches are used;
(5) Lewis and Clark catamaran dry slip storage, $325 for a period from May 1 to September 30, inclusive. For seasonal slip rental beginning on or after July 15, the fee is $60 plus two dollars per day. Temporary slip rental is five dollars per day;
(6) Angostura catamaran dry slip storage, $175 for a period from May 1 to September 30, inclusive. For seasonal slip rental beginning on or after July 15, the fee is $30 plus two dollars per day. Temporary slip rental is five dollars per day;
(7) Palisades State Park event shelter located adjacent to the lodge, $50 per day 7; and
(8) Good Earth State Park:
(a) Visitor center (standard rates) -- Classroom A, $100 for 2 hours, $200 for 4 hours, $400 for 8 hours; Classroom B (includes kitchen), $200 for 2 hours, $300 for 4 hours, $600 for 8 hours; Full Classroom (A and B), $250 for 2 hours, $450 for 4 hours, $900 for 8 hours;
(b) Visitor center (non-profit rates) -- Classroom A, $30 for 2 hours, $60 for 4 hours, $120 for 8 hours; Classroom B (includes kitchen), $60 for 2 hours, $90 for 4 hours, $180 for 8 hours; Full Classroom (A and B), $75 for 2 hours, $135 for 4 hours, $270 for 8 hours;
(c) Picnic shelter special event fee -- $100 for 4 hours; and $200 for all-day (6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from May 1 to September 30, inclusive, and 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from October 1 to April 30, inclusive);
(d) Wedding events -- include full classroom, amphitheater, outdoor patio, picnic shelter and special one-day event park entrance license for guests, $1,500 for 1-49 people, $2,000 for 50-100 people, $2,500 for 101-149 people, $3,000 for 150-200 people;
(e) Wedding event (ceremony only) -- picnic shelter or amphitheater and special one-day event park entrance license for guests for a maximum time of 2 hours, $350 for 1-49 people, $400 for 50-100 people, $450 for 101-149 people, $500 for 150-200 people.
(f) Amphitheater special event fee -- $300 for 4 hours and $600 for all day (6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from May 1 to September 30, and 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from October 1 to April 30, inclusive.
