Unless otherwise addressed in SDCL chapter 42-12 or ARSD article 20:81, the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts apply to all mixed martial arts bouts. The South Dakota Athletic Commission has final decision-making authority concerning the enforcement, implementation, and interpretation of these rules.
