Section 20:69:11:01.01 - Distance education defined

As used in this chapter, a distance education course is one in which instruction takes place in other than a traditional classroom setting, the instructor and student are in physically separate locations, and instructional methods include interactive video-based instruction, computer conferencing, interactive audio, interactive computer software, and internet-based instruction.
