The Board of Physical Therapy may excuse an applicant from the continuing education requirements if the applicant submits an affidavit to the board stating that the applicant was prevented from completing the requirements because of an undue hardship. An application for an undue hardship shall be submitted to the Board of Physical Therapy at least thirty days prior to the two-year educational period referenced in § 20:66:03:01 or the waiver may be denied.
