Section 20:62:02:07 - Reinstatement of lapsed licenses

A licensee who fails to renew the license may be reinstated by filing an application and a written explanation for failure to renew with the Board of Nursing. The applicant for reinstatement of licensure must provide evidence of current certification as set forth by subdivision 20:62:02:02 (3), evidence of holding an unencumbered South Dakota registered nurse license or privilege to practice. The licensee must submit an affidavit that the applicant has committed no act of misconduct as set forth by SDCL 36-9A-29, and the fees required by subdivision 20:62:01:11.
