As used in this chapter, the term training, means educational experience derived from participation in approved lectures, seminars, or courses on plumbing rules and regulations or other related areas in plumbing that have been approved by the commission, to improve the professional skills and upgrade the standards of restricted licensees for the purpose of protecting the health and welfare of the citizens of the state.
