Section 20:53:05:03 - Experience required for testing

An applicant for an appliance installer's license shall show evidence of two years' experience as an appliance installer apprentice in South Dakota. An applicant for an appliance contractor's license shall have one year's experience as an appliance installer in South Dakota. Proof of experience shall be shown by affidavits which the commission may investigate. The commission shall provide forms to the applicant. The applicant shall show that the applicant's work complies with the state plumbing code, article 20:54. If the commission rejects the application, the matter shall be treated as a contested case.
