In addition to the prohibitions in SDCL 34-20G-2, no drug that requires storage temperatures other than normal room temperature as specified by the manufacturer may be donated or accepted because of the increased potential for these drugs to become adulterated. Excluded from this restriction are drugs donated directly from a drug manufacturer or other entity authorized to possess prescription drugs.
