No optometrist, when using the title of "doctor" in advertising, may qualify it in any way other than by the use of the word "optometrist." When not using the title, optometrists may use after their names the letters "O.D." or the word "optometrist," or both. Approved listings include Dr. John Doe, Optometrist; John Doe, O.D., Optometrist; John Doe, Optometrist; and John Doe, O.D.
