If the board determines through the application verification process that an applicant has a drug or alcohol problem, a disciplinary problem, or a problem of another nature, the board may require the applicant to appear personally before the board, a member of the board, or a member of the board's staff.
If licensure is sought by examination or endorsement, the board at its discretion may require the applicant who appears personally to present originals or copies of the following credentials:
