Section 20:38:33:03 - Examination fees

Certain examination fees are set by the examination vendor and are to be paid by the applicant directly to the vendor, as follows:

(1) NCEES for engineering and land surveying examinations;

(2) NCARB for architecture examinations; and

(3) CLARB for landscape architectural examinations.

The fee to retake the open book, take-home examination of South Dakota land surveying practice and laws shall be paid to the board pursuant to the following fee schedule:

(1) 4 hour version of the take home exam, $60;

(2) 2 hour version of the take home exam, $30; and

(3) 1 hour version of the take home exam, $20

The fee to retake the open book, take-home examination for petroleum release assessor or remediator shall be paid to the board in the amount of $60.
