Section 20:36:03:01 - Eligibility

An applicant for registration as an abstracter must be a resident of the state of South Dakota, or an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States or the spouse of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States and is the subject of a military transfer to South Dakota, and a person of good moral character and careful, temperate habits.
