Markings of underground facilities are valid up to twenty-one calendar days after the start date on the ticket, so long as the markings are clearly visible. For extensive and continuous excavation activity, the operator and the excavator may enter into written agreements to extend the valid period of the original ticket.
A valid ticket may not be updated more than twice and may not be extended more than sixty-three days after the start date of the original ticket.
