Upon approval of the commission or executive secretary, a licensed slot machine manufacturer, distributor, or operator may store or display slot machines in locations in South Dakota other than within the city limits of Deadwood for the purpose of sale or lease if the machines are rendered inoperable and the licensee complies with the requirements of SDCL 42-7B-38 and 42-7B-39.
