Events in slot machines are occurrences of elements or particular combinations of elements that are available on the particular slot machine. A random event has a given set of possible outcomes, each with a given probability of occurrence. The set of these probabilities is called the distribution. Two events are called independent if the outcome of one has no influence on the outcome of the other. The outcome of one event cannot affect the distribution of another event if the two events are independent.
