Section 20:04:29:13 - License fee schedule

The following fees shall be charged by the commission for licenses issued:

(1) Association: $10 per performance;

(2) Announcer: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(3) Apprentice jockey: $25, renewal fee: $10;

(4) Authorized agent: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(5) Bookkeeper: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(6) Custodian of jockey room: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(7) Concession employee: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(8) Concession operator: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(9) Concessionaire: $3 per performance;

(10) Corporation: $25 if racing 10 or less; $100 if racing 11 or more;

(11) Entry clerk: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(12) Exercise rider: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(13) Gateman: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(14) Groom: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(15) Hub employee: $35, renewal fee: $20;

(16) Jockey: $25, renewal fee: $10;

(17) Jockey agent: $20, renewal fee: $10;

(18) Key employee: $50, renewal fee: $25;

(19) Lessee: $10 per horse, renewal fee: $5;

(20) Multi-jurisdictional totalizator hub: $100 per operating day;

(21) Mutuel employee: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(22) Mutuel operator: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(23) Official: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(24) Owner (including colors): $25, renewal fee: $10

(25) Owner-trainer: $40, renewal fee: $20;

(26) Partnership: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(28) Photo finish/film patrol: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(29) Parking lot employee: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(30) Plater: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(31) Pony rider -- Outrider: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(32) Programmer: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(33) Security: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(34) Stable name: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(35) Starter: $15, renewal fee: $10;

(36) Assistant starter: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(37) Tattooer: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(38) Testing assistant; $10, renewal fee: $5;

(39) Trainer: $25, renewal fee: $10;

(40) Valet: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(41) Veterinarian: $25, renewal fee: $10;

(42) Veterinarian assistant: $10, renewal fee: $5;

(43) Duplicate license issued to the same person during the same year: $10;

(44) Multiple license: $25, renewal fee: $10.

The renewal fee applies if a licensee presents the licensee's previous year's license for validation for the current year's racing season. If the license from the previous year's racing season is not presented, the commission shall consider the request to be for a new license and the new license fee must be charged.
