Section 20:04:27:10 - Notice of injections of horses by nonveterinarian required

A person, other than a veterinarian licensed by the commission, who injects, gives, uses, or administers or allows another person to give, inject, use, or administer any drugs, analgesics, or medicines of any kind whatever to a horse within 48 hours prior to the running of a horse in a race shall notify the stewards of the use, injection, or administration of these substances before the running of the race. Any such person failing to give notice shall be suspended or fined or both and his license may be revoked.
