Section 20:04:25.01:01 - Number of horses in the starting gate

Except in cases where the starting gate physically restricts the number of horses starting, each time trial shall consist of no more than ten horses. If the association's starting gate has less than ten stalls, then the maximum number of qualifiers must correspond to the maximum number of starting gate positions.
