Section 20:04:20:18 - Appointment of officials

The state stewards, assistant state stewards, and state veterinarian for each race meeting shall be named by the commission and paid from the special racing fund. All other officials designated in § 20:04:20:17 shall be appointed by the association, subject to the approval of the commission. The commission may require a change of personnel for good reason, and the replacements are subject to the approval of the commission.
