Section 67-905 - Employer Denies Liability, ProcedureA. If the employer's representative denies liability of a claim involving a fatality, the claimant must request a hearing by filing a Form 52 according to R.67-207.B. A Guardian ad Litem must be appointed according to R.67-216.C. If a hearing is not requested by a claimant within sixty days from the date the notice in R.67-903 is mailed to the known beneficiaries, the employer's representative may file a Form 19 with the Commission's Claims Department.D. The file may be reopened by filing a Form 52 according to R.67-207.
