Section 67-1202 - Attorney's Letter of RepresentationA. When an attorney is employed to represent a party before the Commission, the attorney must notify the Commission by writing the Commission's Judicial Department.B. The attorney may notify the employer's representative.C. If an attorney representing a claimant files a letter of representation with the Commission and at the same times files a claim as provided in R.67-206, the letter of representation must contain the information in R.67-206C(1) through (12). (1) The Commission will notify the employer's representative a claim has been filed unless the letter states the employer's representative has been given a copy of the letter.(2) The attorney may state in the letter the date the attorney was employed. If a date of employment is not included in a letter of representation, the date of the letter of representation is deemed the date of employment.S.C. Code Regs. § 67-1202
