Soil samples of one pound or less which are packaged so that no soil will be spilled in transit and are consigned to laboratories operating under compliance agreement. Information as to approved laboratories may be obtained from an inspector.B. Soil samples of any size collected and shipped to any U. S. Army Corps of Engineers soil laboratory.C. Potting soil if commercially prepared, packaged, and shipped in original containers.D. Hay and straw if used for packing or bedding.E. Used mechanized soil-moving equipment if cleaned of all loose, noncompacted soil and not exposed to infestation after cleaning or other prescribed handling.F. Transplants if substantially free of soil, and houseplants grown in the home and not for sale.
